The September meeting will be in the Old School on Wednesday 14th at 8pm all members of the local community welcome to attend.

The Seanad has been told that outdated waste water facilities are hampering development in Carrick.

Speaking during the Order of Business, Senator Manus Boyle, said the need for updated facilities has been recognised for over 15 years, but there’s been no progress. In the meantime, he pointed out, development plans in Carrick are being hampered, and the potential for growth both there, and by nearby Sliabh Liag has been compromised. Coiste Forbartha na Carraige have been working hard behind the scenes and would like to thank Manus for highlighting this very important issue.
